The evening titled “Welcome to my World” was a stylish retrospective which celebrated Ashish Soni’s 25 years in the fashion industry at The Lodhi, New Delhi. The evening brought together unique insights into the designer’s world of design, his personal fashion signature as well as a rare glimpse of how far the Indian fashion industry has travelled in this quarter of a century.
On display were a compilation of the designer’s popular runway shows which helped in popularising the brand to its name today, there were also three focused exhibits revolving around Ashish’s personal favourites from his creations over the years. alongside the documentary film about Ashish’s journey in the industry and a futuristic interactive audiovisual presentation powered by artificial intelligence.
To mark this huge milestone with the designer, seen celebrating with him were JJ Valaya, Rohit Bal, Suneet Varma, Nikhil Mehra, Rajesh Pratap, Payal Pratap, Vikram Chandra, Yuvraj Singh, Renuka Chowdhury, Robert Vadra, Bindu Vadera to name a few.
