Ace fashion designer Sounia Gohil, recently launched her flagship store and unveiled her latest Spring Summer 2011 collection at Khar, Mumbai over wine and cheese. 

The aesthetically done in white with antique Indian touches, Sounia’s new store spells out luxury in every corner and welcomes one with a warm ambience. On the occasion, Sounia’s SS 2011 collection comprising of a wide range of tunics, embellished in diamantes and metal coins and made in rich flowy fabrics in pastel shades was also unveiled. 

The summer creations consist of dresses and light gowns in pretty pinks made in mal. Another line comprises of luxurious eveningwear in lycra with the mixing of shades and the elegant cowls and drapes. Sounia’s signature sarees accompanied by sensuous, dramatic blouses that boasts of exclusive ornamental embellishments made in rich Lycra and net fabrics complete the collection.

On the launch Sounia puts, “The idea behind having my own store was to let my clients see my creations in an ambiance suited for the same. The new collection spells out luxury and royalty with a touch of summer fun.” 

Hosted by Sounia Gohil along with Kunika Singh, the evening witnesses the who’s who of the city gracing the soiree.
