Designer duo Anjalee & Arjun Kapoor takes inspiration from Renaissance era to unveil its Spring Summer 2011 pret line for the today’s confident and glamorous woman.

The art pieces in textiles narrate a romantic fairy tale by giving it a vintage look. The use of French lace can be seen in all the garments. Necklines are low to show off the curves, adorned with ruffles and lace. Sleeves are puffed and frilly, with laces and ribbons to give an embellished look.

Using drape technique along with a lot of brooch placements, surface texturing and ornamentation with a touch of ostrich feather here and there completes the look. Draped silhouettes, corsets, miniskirts and long flowy gowns concluded the show.

Materializing the renaissance look accessories like belts embedded with stones and jewellery add up the glamour quotient of the plain dresses.
