The abstracts of sculptor-cum-artist Rouble Nagi hogged the limelight when actor Salman Khan lit the ceremonial lamp at the preview of her latest art works at Olive, Bandra in Mumbai.

Through her landscapes the artist focused on the environment, observing the subtle differences and shifts in color value and shape. The works on display had a certain kind of life in them where forms different forms happened to create new shapes altogether. The mix of warm and cool colors; thin transparent paint and thick textured impasto, made every composition to stand out

About this series of landscapes, Rouble, who showcased her work after a gap of four years, said, “This series I painted while I was on the move in Europe and the Middle East.  Every landscape is so different than the other, as I painted and ventured into the abstract realm once again."

The preview saw who’s who of the city including Aditya Thackeray, Nitish Rane, Zarine Khan, Kunika Singh, Sheeba, Nisha Jamwval, Pria Kataria Puri, Bina Aziz, Ashmit & Asha Patel, Himalaya Dassani, Karnveer Bohra with Teejay Sidhu, Ronit & Mansi Roy and Tulip Joshi amongst others.
