To celebrate the launch of her festive jewellery line, designer Maheep Kapoor, along with Shravan and Nitya, hosted a champagne evening at Satyani’s Diamond Boutique at Bandra in Mumbai.The new jewellery line with intense yellow diamonds, emeralds and rubies exclusively for Satyani’s is a beautiful range comprising of chaandbalis and jhumkas mainly. The creations are Mughal inspired and epitomizes traditional Indian jewellery with a modern twist.
About her collection, Maheep said, “Classic jewellery pieces like a solitaire ring or solitaire bracelets will never go out of fashion. A girl will always want her first piece to be a solitaire. When women spend a certain amount of money on jewellery they want those pieces to stay with them forever. Jewellery is passed on from one generation to another, so classics will always be in demand.”
