All models are great-looking. A big number does international projects. There’s a decent percentage in the modelling industry that has emerged from small towns or even villages. You have seen a lot of them on the cover of prestigious magazines and almost each has a story of struggle. So, how is model Inder Bajwa different?  Well, it is his heart with a beautiful vision that helps him stand out. Consider this, “ I want to have a children’s organisation for education. This organisation will be a special one because it won’t restrict knowledge to books.” We caught up with him and found out this, along with something more. You read on to discover what we got.

Family and Academics…
I was born and brought up in Bajwa kalan, a village in Punjab. My family including my mother,  father, brother and sister, all live there. Even I did my schooling there.

Parent’s reaction to your choice of modelling as a career…
I always wanted to do something unstable but interesting. I wished for something that allowed me to travel, meet new people and not a 8 hour job. I like the risk factor in life as it makes life interesting. That is why I chose modelling as a career. And parents are very proud of me.

First modelling assignment…
My first assignment was a print shoot for Star Cruise Libra. I did it in 2006.

Greatest achievement till date…
I take care of my family and just got my sister married sometime back . To me, this is my greatest achievement in life.

Idea of an ideal date…
I would prefer sitting bare feet on a beach with my love. More precisely, it would be like having candle-light dinner with wine.

When not modelling, what are you most likely to be found doing…
You will find me watching movies or reading some book.

Essentials for a model to climb the ladder of success…
Well, a model needs fire, right attitude, great height, looks and the perfect walk.

Views on Indian vs. Western models…
I don’t find much difference between the two. Internationally, a good model has no nationality. He just has to be good. But here in India, you are an international model if all you have is a non-Indian passport.

Most touching moment of your life…
My sister has just got married. When she was leaving the house, I felt so moved.
