Christened ‘Urooj’, meaning the ‘rising’ in Urdu, it signifies the rise of a new dawn that spreads light and power to modern brides-to-be. But the inspiration is not just metaphorical — it is interpreted with the motif of a rising sun, which serves as the hero of the collection. The designs surpass trends, with an exquisite amalgamation of the old and the new, says Shaheen Abbas.

The line features a traffic-stopping range of the usual suspects like jhumkis, chand balis, chokers, cuffs and maang tikkas while also reviving old-school favourites like haslis, hair accessories, anklets and haath-phools; all with the brand’s inimitable touch.
