Lately, Angela Krislinzki is on a happy high and has brought the Internet down with her photoshoots on the beautiful beaches. She has just wrapped up another photoshoot with Jadhav Vipul of jvfilms, as we bring you some of the looks and the least we could say is that they are breathtaking.

Angela Krislinzki started her career with a Telugu hit ‘Rogue’ directed by Puri Jaganadh. Her Bollywood debut was ‘1921’ directed by Vikram Bhatt. Apart from that, she has also participated in ‘India’s next superstar’ which was judged by Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty.

Her song Ishq ka raja with Addy Nagar has garnered more than 80 million views on youtube and it knows no stopping. The young lanky woman is sure gonna give a run for their money to the biggies out there and it just seems to be a matter of time.

After two phenomenally successful seasons, aLL – The Plus Size is back with its third season at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2018. Twenty-nine fresh faces chosen at the model auditions held at St. Regis, Mumbai, will walk for the third edition of India’s plus size fashion show.

Over 300 participants from across the country came in for the audition. 29 winners were chosen to walk the ramp, of which 19 were women and 10 were men. The winners selected by the esteemed panel of jury comprised of Actress – Zareen Khan, Fashion Designer – Narendra Kumar, Fashion Choreographer – Lubna Adam, CEO, aLL – The Plus Size Store – Hetal Kotak, and Vice President and Head of Fashion, IMG Reliance – Jaspreet Chandok.

aLL-The Plus Size Store has collaborated with ace designer Narendra Kumar who will be designing ‘aLL PRIMERO’ Collection, for their Autumn Winter’18 collection. This line will be showcased at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2018 and would be available in stores at the same time.

An Indian shortlisted as the world’s next Swimsuit Superstar is now a reality! The only Indian model to be selected and shortlisted amongst a bevy of international models – svelte and sensuous Smriti, has been crowned as World Swimsuit Model of the Week (in the week of 23^rd April 2018) – an online talent hunt platform sponsored by gaming major Supabets.

In addition to being ‘super sexy in a millennial way’, the bold and beautiful Smriti beat several top swimsuit contenders as she clearly stands out from the rest of the pack due to her brown eyes and an extremely photogenic and versatile face. With her sharp, chiseled features, the sizzling lass can pass off as a luscious Latin American lass in one picture and an alluring Asian in another.

Glam doll Smriti said, “Emerging as World Swimsuit Model of the Week in the fact of intense international competition is a huge accomplishment! I am looking forward to winning the grand finale of World Swimsuit 2018, as it will open doors for me with respect to several international assignments and opportunities. Sensual and photogenic, Smriti has worked with some of the leading Indian and international photographers across the country. The Life Style Journalist Magazine featured her in their October 2017 issue “Destined to Model”. She has also featured in Vogue and Elle India (digital). Smriti made waves as one of the finalists at the prestigious Femina Style Diva 2015. Since then, she has modelled for all the leading fashion weeks in India including Lakme Fashion Week, Amazon India Fashion Week, India Beach Fashion Week, etc. The leading designers that she has modelled for include: Vikram Phadnis, Pria Kataria Puri, Falguni & Shane Peacock, Rebecca Dewan to name a few.

First scouted when she was just 13, Smriti refused to take up modelling as she was way too young and had no interest whatsoever in being a model. However, she was rediscovered again when in college and soon realised that she was destined to be a model. She shuffled between Bengaluru and Mumbai making the most of both worlds. Her qualities include a personality that stands out confidence, great body language, talent, mental strength and good looks. She adores the stunning outfits that models get to wear and bring them to life in her own unique style. She loves the heady feeling of being on the runway. And yes, she loves going to exotic destinations and locations, which are part and parcel of a model’s job. She loves meeting new people – designers, choreographers, stylists, photographers, magazine crews, channel staff and others.

Gone are the days when models naturally transition into actors, she says, today acting is a completely different ballgame. So, there are models who are focused on modelling and then there are those who can manage both!

Palka Grover and Gaurav Grover, President, New Delhi Social Workers Association along with DROMI organised a grand parade for Miss World 2017 at her residential complex, where she was greeted with ‘Band Baaja’, ‘Flower Shower’.

On her Delhi homecoming , she said, “Coming back to Delhi is always pleasurable for me. I have learnt so much from this city and received immense love and affection. This homecoming parade reminiscence me of, when I returned home after winning the title of FBB Colors Femina Miss India 2017”.

Vlada Dzyuba, 14, on a three-month contract to fulfil her dream to become a supermodel, died in China from exhaustion.

Vlada is reported to have attended a 13-hour jewellery modelling shoot before collapsing. She was paid merely£6.30 a day after paying her air fares, hotels and foodwith no medical insurance.

However, Chinese modelling agency ESEE Model Management, involved in her latest trip has denied overworking her – but new facts have emerged that raise concern over the working conditions of a girl who was not accompanied by her mother and the length of her working hours.

Two of the biggest fashion groups Kering and LVMH will stop hiring excessively thin models on catwalks worldwide. The two groups, whose fashion labels include Christian Dior, Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent and Gucci, said they had signed a charter for “the well-being of models”. The charter also forbids the hiring of girls under the age of 16 to pose as adult models for shows or shoots, will be effective for coming up fashion week in Paris.

France in 2015 passed legislation outlawing ultra-thin models from working in the country’s fashion industry. Fashion agencies face fines of up to €75,000 or imprisonment of up to six months if they breach the law.

Kering and LVMH said their charter will go further, adding that all their fashion brands commit to banning models below size 34 for women and size 44 for men in French measurements from their casting requirements.Size 32 in France corresponds to XXS or size 6 in Britain, and size 0 in the United States.

However, fashion industry insiders have long said that clothes hang and drape better on tall, androgynous women, while western cultures often associate thinness with wealth, youth and desirability.

For the first time, the Victoria’s Secret Angels will be filmed in Shanghai, China for the Victoria’s secret fashion show 2017, which will feature 18 new faces.

Aussie models Kelly Gale and Victoria Lee, and New Zealand-born Georgia Fowler have made the cut for this year’s catwalk. The all-star line-up of Victoria’s Secret Angels will include returning favorites Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge, Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes, Josephine Skriver, Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Stella Maxwell and Taylor Hill.

Aiden Curtiss, Alecia Morais, Alexina Graham, Amilna Estevao, Dasha Khlystun, Frida Aasen, Gizele Oliveira, Grace Bol, Julia Belyakova, Mayowa Nicholas, Nadine Leopold, RoosMarijn de Kok, Samile Bermannelli, Vanessa Moody and Xin Xie will be the other new models on the runway.

Lakmé Fashion Week and the pioneers of Plus Size Fashion in India, hosted plus sized model auditions at the St. Regis. The winners will walk for the second edition of India’s plus size fashion show at the upcoming Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2017.

The jury comprised of International model and Body Positive Advocate – Liza Golden-Bhojwani, Fashion Designer -Wendell Rodricks, Head of Business, aLL– The Plus Size Store – Rajeev Singh, Fashion and Lifestyle Consultant – NeerajGaba and Vice President and Head of Fashion, IMG Reliance – Jaspreet Chandok.

Sri Lanka hosted a glitzy evening, at the“Face of Sri Lanka” pageant held at The Hangover Hostels, in Colombo city. The event saw contestants come forward with their A-Game in Fashion.
