FENDI presents Policromia, the haute joaillerie watch designed by Delfina Delettrez Fendi, with an exclusive 3D video created by the London based, German photographer Daniel Sannwald.

A surreal voyage from myth towards the future, blending innovation with ancient Greek and Roman times in daring graphic effects.

In a perpetual play of full and empty volumes, Policromia perfectly matches with the surroundings Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, the FENDI Headquarters in Rome, where elegant ellipses create surfaces overlapping on the dial inspired by the giant building and its unique arches.

Delfina Delettrez Fendi appears as a statue embodying a Goddess living in a far world, while Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana becomes her own magic place where her creations take life as modern talismans.

The watch’s layers are mixed-up in a time vortex: mineral stones as malachite, lapis lazuli and obsidian are magically combined with precious materials, giving to Policromia a hypnotic power.

From Marvel Studios comes “Doctor Strange,” the story of world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange whose life changes forever after a car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look for healing in a mysterious enclave known as Kamar-Taj. Before long Strange—armed with newly acquired magical powers—is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence.

Dr. Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, is a watch collector and wears a unique Jaeger-LeCoultre Master UT watch engraved with a love message:‘Time will tell you how much I love you ‘ Christine.

430Honest, candid and sincere, Hilfiger’s memoir reveals never-before-told stories from his personal and professional life, plus the triumphs and setbacks in building a global fashion lifestyle brand.

American Dreamer, which chronicles his life and career in becoming one of the world’s most renowned fashion designers, from his beginnings as an eager entrepreneur in Elmira, New York, to founding his namesake brand and building international growth, the memoir shares Hilfiger’s most genuine and moving recollections.

“After more than 40 years in the fashion industry, I wanted to record the memories behind my life and brand,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “American Dreamer is a roadmap of the moments that have defined both my career and my personal life—from my childhood in Elmira, New York, to building a global business. I’m excited to share my journey and I hope it can inspire others to pursue their dreams,”said he.

Guests who attended the launch included Gigi Hadid, Serena Williams,Naomi Campbell, Christie Brinkley, Karolina Kurkova, AlexandraRichards, Ella Richards, Victor Cruz, Alan Cumming, ShilohFernandez, MarkyRamone, DJ Cassidy, Mick Rock, Arthur Kulkov, RJ King, CoryKennedy and more.

American Dreamer is written by Tommy Hilfiger in collaboration with Peter Knobler. The cover artwork was shot by renowned photographer Richard Phibbs at the Tommy Hilfiger brand’s Fifth Avenue Flagship store in New York City. It is published by Ballantine Books, an imprint of Random House, a division of Penguin Random House, the world’s largest trade-book publisher, whose parent company is Bertelsmann AG of Random House.

Selling a new phone with a focus on the camera is not a new thing and we’ve been impressed when it’s happened in the past by the Apples and Samsungs, Nexus of the world.
1Just after Huawei’s P9 had stopped photography connoisseurs there comes very compelling Honor 8. Awesomely build in glass front n back with varying light reflections, it has become a necessity for every lifestyle enthusiast across the globe. This new age smartphone is 7.5mm svelte yet very suave matching up to a fashionista and stacking up well in sapphire blue, pearl white and sunrise gold.

v

The Honor 8 uses Huawei’s octo-core Kirin 950 and has 4GB of RAM, making it a highly capable smartphone but at heart it’s essentially a rebranded Huawei P9 that costs less with two premium dual-cameras. The Honor 8 also has 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB OTG and NFC.

I also found it held on to a JIO4G signal better than most other smartphones in weaker network areas, although at the same time it was worse affected by the network conditions as we were not able receive calls. Don’t know whether it’s an issue with JIO or Honor.

Along with the visual changes, EMUI has much more aggressive power-saving features, that shuts down problem apps and severely limits what can be active when the screen is off by default.

3

The dual cameras in Honor 8 are one of the highlight features with 12-megapixel colour and monochrome sensors. As of now we ‘re carefully checking on and don’t want to rush any conclusions and will come back with details after a little disruption.

Till then we’ll whizz you through its specs:

Screen: 5.2in full HD LCD (424ppi)

Processor: Octa-core Huawei Kirin 950

RAM: 4GB of RAM

Storage: 32GB + microSD card

Operating system: Android 6.0 with Emotion UI 4.1

Camera: 12MP dual rear camera, 8MP front-facing camera

Connectivity: LTE, Wi-Fiac, NFC, IR, Bluetooth 4.2, USB-C and GPS

Dimensions: 145.5 x 71.0 x 7.5mm

Weight: 153g
