Belgian artist Rinus Van de Velde and musician Oliver Sim, star in Dior Homme‘s smoldering Summer 2016 campaign, collaboration between Creative Director Kris Van Assche and noted photographer Willy Vanderperre for the tenth time, the project subverts the rules of traditional masculinity with creative newness.

In this season’s campaign the Dior man metamorphoses into Dior men — charismatic and distinctly individual, they playfully subvert the rules of masculine dress while at the same time upholding its traditions,” Van Assche said.

The campaign features singer and lyricist Oliver Sim, actor Alain-Fabien Delon, artist Rinus Van de Velde and model Victor Nylander, who essentially play versions of themselves in the still images and accompanying film, “Stranger in a Room.” The film is named after a song of the same title by Jamie xx that also features the vocals of his xx bandmate, Sim

Van Assche said the men are all dressed in pieces from the summer collection “that feels in keeping with their individual characters — something they might well wear themselves.”

Taking inspiration from its spring2016 runway show, designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli shot the season’s campaign in the Amboseli National Park in Kenya with photographer Stephen McCurry, and models Alice Metza, Cameron Traiber, Greta Varlese, Kirin Dejonckheere and Tami Williams alongwith masai people.

Bottega Veneta’s artsy spring 2016 campaign stars models Mica Arganaraz, Sven de Vries and captured by Viviane Sassen in the concrete and polyurethane paints installations.

The model duo debuted the brand in June at a Kanye West concert in Glastonbury. So far the duo only has designs for tops and hats, but soon will be branching out into a full line.

Lavazza has collaborated with London’s fashion duo Agi & Sam to creat a one-off design to go on 5,000 coffee cups for the London Collection Men AW16, to be available at all shows.

Lavazza predicts that up to 8,000 cups of its coffee will be consumed throughout the four-day event. Branded pop-up coffee bars will be situated at the Victoria House, 180 The Strand and The Topman Catwalk at P3 Marylebone venues.

The specially designed cups will be used to serve beverages including espressos, lattes, americanos and macchiatos across each of the sites and backstage during Agi & Sam showcase.

1Microsoft is set to have a new typeset named after the city of Dubai. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, has directed the General Secretariat of the Council to work on designs for a package of electronic fonts under the collective name of Dubai.

The development of the package will be the first phase of the initiative to include the distinctive fonts of the Emirate of Dubai in both Arabic and English, and in line with the latest international standards for fonts used in the field of information technology.

Sheikh Hamdan said: “The Emirate of Dubai, as usual, and within its ongoing efforts to occupy the top rank internationally in various areas, will create a new and memorable imprint in the digital world through this initiative, which is in line with its clear strategy based on a solid foundation in a move designed to reflect the vision of our wise leadership to achieve leadership and innovation.”
