Today marks the debut of Gucci’s latest digital short film, which shadows the international man about town on a trip across the world. Dedicated to Men’s Tailoring, the film introduces Gucci’s signature suit collection against the backdrop of London, New York, and Tokyo.

Featuring Clement Chabernaud as the protagonist, the film tells the tale of the tailoring connoisseur’s journey, from one jet-set destination to the next. He has a suit for every stop and a secret address on every leg of his travels. From days on-the-go to evenings out and about, his Made in Italy wardrobe rises to the occasion.

The Gucci Men’s Tailoring campaign will highlight the most exclusive travel destinations and cultural experiences around the world. While all of Gucci’s social media networks will dedicate two weeks to its men’s tailoring. Next on the agenda is the luxury label will present a video series on real-life men’s tastemakers from around the world.

Rickowenshow-234-3Selfridges, the UK based fashion house launches an exclusive project titled ‘The Masters’, an exploration of the fashion originators, well known pioneers and idealists who have productively shaped the fashion world till present.

Defined as champions of their craft and justified fashion icons, these ‘Masters’ will showcase exclusive archival pieces to bespoke fashion films.

Some of the well-known fashion houses are a part of this project, namely Azzedine Alaïa- The Master of Architecture, Dries Van Noten-The Master of the Eclectic, Jean Paul Gaultier-The Master of Expression, Jun Takahashi of Undercover-The Master of Subversion, Marc Jacobs-The Master of Mood, Oscar de la Renta-The Master of Elegance, Paul Smith-The Master of Inspiration, Rick Owens-The Master of the Elements, Roberto Cavalli-The Master of Glamour, Thom Browne-The Master of Showmanship, Stella McCartney-The Master of Modernity and Yohji Yamamoto-The Master of Defiance.Rickowenshow-234-2

Meanwhile, as a part of campaigning for the project, Selfridges joined hands with Rick Owens to launch ‘The World of Rick Owens’, which marks the accomplishment of his 20 years as a world renowned fashion label. The designer will take over Selfridges’ London Concept Store and will create a 20 piece collection exclusively for Selfridges. Additionally, it will also feature a specially commissioned 25 foot Rick Owens statue that will sit above the iconic Selfridges London canopy.

1Steve Madden, the US based extremely luxurious and high ending footwear label joins hands with the Australian hip hop artist Iggy Azalea for a forthcoming footwear range.

The collaboration comes following from Iggy’s performance in Brooklyn as a part of Madden music series. With an extremely distinctive eye for fashion, Iggy has previously made appearances in an ad campaigns, participated in various shows, parties and music videos.

However, her association with Steve Madden marks the first legitimate fashion association of her career.
