Long time beach wear design duo Shivan & Narresh has recently launched a line in collaboration with international brand Havaianas. The collection represents the creativity and craftsmanship synonymous with the designers.

The special collection is hand-sewn by artisans from Alagoa Nova, in the state of Paraíba, north eastern Brazil and is made from differentiated materials, crystals, metallic and organic meshes, such as the straw from the moriche palm, a typical tree in the Brazilian cerrado.

With a signature Shivan & Narresh water-proof sleeve, these flip flops are perfect for the holiday by the beach, resort or the spa and will be available on Havaianas’ e-commerce website and retail outlets.

Famous Italian brand, Missoni announced the opening of the first store in New Delhi, India. Angela Missoni with architect-designer Patricia Urquiola has created the boutique using the finest materials from Italy.

The new store features different tones and textures of different materials, from wood to etched mirrors and from copper-finish metal to polychrome lacquers. The space is a fascinating juxtaposition of matte and reflective surfaces, neutral hues and bold shades, schematic and sinuous designs, interspersed with furniture upholstered in Missoni fabric. The accessories are arranged above and below the transparent shelves of large multi colour tables and modular displays.

The boutique will house the women’s and men’s prêt-à-porter collections, as well as accessories, eyewear and kidswear.

Michael Kors launched the brand’s first foray into the Indian market with the opening of a store inside New Delhi’s DLF Emporio. The 1,500-square-foot store will carry Michael Kors Collection ready-to-wear and handbags, as well as accessories, footwear, watches, eyewear and ready-to-wear from the MICHAEL Michael Kors line.

“I could not be more excited to open our first store in India,” says Michael Kors. “I think that our Indian customers are extremely sophisticated and will appreciate the glamour, luxury and versatility they find in the store.”

“The New Delhi store is our first venture into this growing market, and we’re optimistic that it will play a key role in the long-term growth of the company,” says John D. Idol, Chief Executive Officer. “We are looking forward to adding India to our list of international markets.”
