Christopher Bailey’s story in this pre-spring, has a gorgeously cool look, with jeweled details, lace, brocade & sleek lines, which goes closer to Burberry’s roots in a mixture of 1930s and current trends.

He served up body-con dresses, peekaboo fabrics and that sharp-cut pencil skirt. he was so fond of for fall, offering elegant peplum sheaths and myriad skirts in sweet pastel-colored English laces.

The trenchcoat was on full display in classic as well as cropped lengths, often embellished with clusters of glass beads. Bailey also had a little Audrey Hepburn on his mind, as he  manifested in beautiful bow details on the backs of evening gowns and boatneck collars on suiting, as well as classic cashmere sweaters ranging from whisper thin to hearty with embellishment.
