The city of Pune goes all sassy as the city-based multi designer store Rudraksh welcomes swimwear designer Shivan & Narresh aboard.

The duo will be showcasing their Spring Summer 2013 collection titled ‘Zip’ at the store over two days, April 5th and 6th. The collection beautifully takes forward the artistic language of abstract expressionist Barnett Newman and converses with his ideology of colour fields and the use of hued zips to define spatial structures.

On offer are sculpt swimsuits in a pop inspired color palette mixing cherry reds, aquamarines and chocolate browns. Newman’s bold zips are translated into hand-painted linens, forming the canvas for the collection to shape while the silhouettes express a structured freedom, amalgamating summery linens and cottons with defined forms.
