But this time around, Wendell consummates the affair by portraying Goa and its sartorial history in a way never seen before.
The designer launched his book Moda Goa: History & Style weaving a rich tapestry of history, clothing and passionate prose. With stories of people and events that shaped Goa, this stunning collection of photographs and illustrations documents, for the very first time the unique history of Goan costumes.

The new Church’s ‘Contemporary Goodyear Welted Collection’ showcased an innovative manufacturing process which transformed the traditional Church’s welted sole into a more flexible and modern one. The use of the light weight rib on the in-sole grants flexibility and instant comfort to the wearer whilst maintaining the ‘English’ resistance properties normally expected from a Church’s shoe.
The innovative contemporary Goodyear Welted Collection is obtained by a combination of special ‘oil’ treatments handmade on the sole and by sophisticated tanning process aimed at softening the leather, thus combining Church’s classical construction with a new and contemporary twist.
Styled in ‘Royal Polish’ and ‘Brushed Fume Tricolor’ in a wide range of colors: navy, wine, burgundy, dark green and smoke.
