Burberry has designed an interactive card for the festive season featuring a Burberry Acoustic performance of "Can’t complain about Christmas" by Johnny Borrell from Razorlight

The digital card can be viewed on the iPhone and iPad, emailed as well as shared through Facebook and Twitter with a personalized bespoke holiday greeting by the sender. To celebrate the festive season, Burberry has made a donation to the Burberry Foundation, its registered charity set up in 2008 by Christopher Bailey and Angela Ahrendts, which is dedicated to helping young people realize their dreams and potential through the power of their creativity.



Johnny Borrell from Razorlight waived all fees in lieu of a generous donation to the Burberry Foundation and other charities. Burberry Acoustic, launched in June 2010, celebrates the Burberry heritage of founding, developing and supporting British talent, collaborating with British artists across multiple Burberry experiences through the attitude and energy of music. 

 

Asmi, one of India’s leading diamond jewellery brands owned by Gitanjali Group, opened an exclusive showroom in Atria Mall, Worli. This is Asmi’s 8th flagship store in India and the first in Mumbai. The store was inaugurated by Bollywood Actress Gul Panag. ASMI is associated with her forthcoming Hindi film “Turning 30”.

The showroom spreads across 600 sq ft area showcasing a wide range of jewellery for the new Indian woman who has emerged as a Woman of Spirit. It has a contemporary delicate and feminine look that is distinctly evocative of strength and grace making it the ideal jewellery brand for self-reward and as recognition of her myriad achievements.

The range has choices for every age, whether she is a young girl, one rising up the corporate ladder or a mature achiever who has scaled the peak of success. The collections on offer include the Graduation collection, the corporate collection, the Wedding collection, the Pinnacle collection and the Zodiac sign collection.

The Midday trophy On Sunday, the 26th, the race course saw some exciting races to celebrate the festive season – The Rohan Lifescapes ,Jiwahirao Gold Cup and the Midday Trophywas hosted by Tarik ansari, Managing Director, Midday Manajit Ghosahal and Vineet Singh Hukmani. Saif Ali Khan being the Guest of Honour.

The race contested by the highest class of horses had traditional race, with a prize money of 1 million and juvenile million of the season with a prize money of 1.5 millio contested by two year olds. Polish Patriot won the Rohan Lifescapes Jiwajirao Scindia Gold Cup while first Incognito won the N.N. Mehta Sprint Million race.

While Narayan Rane and Nitish Rane were the Guests of Honour for the Rohan Lifescapes Races, Saif Ali Khan was the Guest of Honour for the Midday Trophy. Also seen at the RWITC this Sunday were Anu Malik, Vijay Malaya, Gautam Singhania, Pesi Shroff, Arun Nayar, Atul Kasbekar, Dr Cyrus Poonawala, Adar Poonawala, Shamita Singha,  Divya Thakur, Bandana Tewari ,Riyad Oomberbhoy etc.
 

Khushii an NGO dedicated to various causes spanning health, child welfare, education for all, rural mobilization, etc organized a Fashion Loot under the arcade of the luxury destination, DLF Emporio. 

Veterans in fund raising Khushi always find anchorage and fund to their social cause that makes even philanthropy fun. The Fashion Loot this time intended at inviting divas and Casuarinas to pledge a token amount which will entitle them to possess a piece of luxury from the many luxury brands within Emporio. 

As the guests mingled and got a view of all the show stoppers that the brands donated Khushii called upon celebrity guests to a draw of lots. And the winners of this draw got to go home with a bag of their dreams or a dress they admired through this season. Funds raised through this even would support various endeavors of Khushii.
