1A model, a musician and a textile artist, Rachel Ruth has launched a new project which explores the intersection of art and fashion via a collection of hand-knitted wearable art pieces.

Rachel has created an art video titled ‘Feel Real Love’, in which tactile hand-knitted costumes are brought to life by a mysterious cast of subjects, and sound tracked by her band Heart People. Rutt has also launched new website to present and sell her unique wearable knit sculptures, and encourages open-minded experimentation.

430The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles recently held the 9th MOCA Distinguished Women in the Arts Luncheon at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.

The luncheon honored MOCA Trustee Susan Gersh and acclaimed artist Marilyn Minter, with awards presented by the former MOCA Chief Curator Paul Schimmel and current MOCA Director Philippe Vergne. The event also featured a special runway show of the Fall 2015 Michael Kors Collection. The event raised more than $350,000 which will help and support the museum including educational and exhibition programs.

In presence were Alison Brie, Aubrey Plaza, Camilla Belle, Erin Foster, Jamie Schneider, Nancy Kovan, Stephanie Vahan, Rie Yamagata and Jacqueline Crowley to name a few.

1Famous Italian brand Moschino has joined hands with Mattel to create a Moschino Barbie and capsule collection.

The new Moschino Barbie doll is styled by creative director Jeremy Scott. The doll is dressed in a slogan T-shirt, mesh knitwear, a quilted faux leather bomber jacket, pencil skirt. Inspired from the look of the doll the capsule collection features eight pieces including slogan tees, faux leather bomber jackets, mesh shorts, gold jewelry as well as two Barbie t-shirts.

The Moschino Barbie doll and the capsule collection will available from November 9, 2015.

Iconic fashion house Prada has launched its Resort SS16 ad campaign and it is stunning.

Shot by photographer Steven Meisel and styled by Olivier Rizzo, the campaign features Lineisy Montero, Lexi Boling, Meghan Collison, Ina Jensen, Julia Nobis and Greta Varlese dressed in retro cub style.

The models are posing against a shutter wearing brand’s latest outfits and holding new graphic bags. The clothes feature funky prints of rabbits, race cars, spaceships, arrows and eyes.

Michael Kors is pleased to announce that Naomie Harris wore a gold wave sequined gown from the Resort 2016 Michael Kors Collection while attending the movie premiere in Moscow, Russia.

Famous Swedish football player Zlatan Ibrahimovic unveiled his new perfume at Marionnaud Champs Elysées in Paris.

The perfume named ‘Zlatan’ is the result of two years of work. The football player was helped by famous perfumer Olivier Pescheux. The fragrance is citrus cologne with woody and aromatic tones.

40 fans got the chance to meet and be photographed with the star. The fans were chosen by a contest game which was launched Marionnaud on Twitter.

1Bhangarh Fort, Rajasthan

“The fort is crowded on weekends and holidays. Suggest you go here on a weekday to experience its eerie aura,” says HolidayIQ Traveller Shivam Gupta.

If you have nerves of steel, take a peek into The Bhangarh Fort. It is recognised as the ‘most haunted place’ by the Government of India. A board has been put up by the Archeological Survey of India on the fort gate that prohibits tourists from entering the fort area after sunset and before sunrise. In 1613 AD, Bhangarh Fort was built by Raja Madhu Singh.

2. Dumas Coast, Surat

“The beach is a great place for paragliding, bike rides on the seashore, horse and camel rides.This beach has many mystical stories. As per Hindu tradition, a human body is burnt after death. Localities here burn dead bodies on this beach. The beach has been an epicentre of horror stories. With dogs barking all night and voices hear in and around the beach, locals believe the spot is haunted.2

3. Shaniwar Wada, Pune

“There are many ghost stories attached to this place,” full moon nights at Shaniwar Wada are believed to be haunted. Legend has it that the 13-year-old son of Narayana from the Peshwa Dynasty was brutally murdered by his relative. It is said that the boy kept running across the entire fort to save his life and kept shouting for help. On a full moon night, even today, it is believed that the boy is seen running and shouting for help.

4. Lambi Dehar Mines, Mussoorie

The mines are located in the outskirts of the town. Legend has it that in the early 1990s, after an accident at the mines, 50,000 workers lost their lives. The surrounding areas are abandoned and are believed to be haunted.

5. Tunnel 33, Shimla

Nothing can be spookier than a haunted tunnel! Hundreds of horror stories have been associated with Shimla and it is said to have several haunted spots. Tunnel No. 33 is one such place, which is said to be haunted by the ghost of British Railway Engineer, Colonel Barog. But, he is believed to be a friendly ghost.

6. Dow Hill, Kurseong

“A must visit when you visit Kurseong,” Dow Hill is reported is said to be plagued with paranormal activities. The Victoria Boys High School is believed to be the place where spirits reside. Local residents say that the sound of footsteps emanating from the school can be heard even when the school is closed. It is claimed that there is one stretch, often called the Death Road, where some woodcutters have reported seeing a headless boy following them. He apparently walks down towards the road and then disappears into the woods.

Fashion Industry Academy will forge successful and marketable professionals, adapted to the realities and challenges of modern business.

On day 6 of Jakarta Fashion Week, APPMI presented standout collections from many young designers. Anastasia Hoeng and Zamel unveiled collection of dresses, while Yogiswari Prajanti’s collection had weaving Gedog of Tuban. Young designers like Nita Seno Adji, Yurita Praise and Muslim fashion label Anggia Mawardi also showed their designs. Other designers Susanuate Budiharjo, De Irma, Errin Ugaru collections also featured Muslim clothing.

LaSalle College Jakarta’s seven students and designers presented their collection on the theme of Revelation. The names included were 1004 DN-pris, Clemence, Fitri Aulia, Kelly Vallerie, Kezia Davita, Sphere Society and Vatthu.

Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia brought four Indonesian Muslims designer showcased their designs on the theme of “Asia Rising “. Hannie Hananto, Monika Jufry, Irna Pearl, and Najua Yani fused the traditional elements with elements of Japanese culture Indonesia, Korea, and India to create a distinctive collection.

Senayan City Capsule Collection F/W 2015 presented special collections for JFW 2016 created by three local brands Danjyo Hiyoji, Kle, and Hunting Fields. Senayan City also presented fashion show collaboration between TIKPrive and Stella Rissa.

Then, Yayasan Jantung Indonesia presented “Solometrik” by Danar Hadi in collaboration with Chossy Latu. Fashion label Bateeq offered casual batik outfits designed with comfort. The day ended with collaboration of L’Oréal Professionnel, and JFW 2016 under which designers Ardistia NY, Rinda Salmun, Billy Tjong, and Sofie displayed their splendid collections.
