6Now that all fashion weeks are over, we take a look on what has been the catwalk trends starting from french twist at Chanel, leather wrap at Fendi, low pony tail at Caroline Herera, Charlotte Ronson half tucked look to overgrown pixie cut or messy fringe. You can even go for long pixie, which is more textured can be easily styled smooth, messy, or gritty.

2

If you are not into cutting your tresses, try a chick layered style or grow out your locks, part your hair at the center. You can wear it curly, wavy, or straight; throw it into a braid or make them into a half-bun the go-to lazy girl look.

3

We saw some designers take to the ‘60s bouffant style for maximum effect. There were French twists to the knots and twists made on long hair for Iris Van Herpen, Bernard Chandran. While Fendi had the hair pinned into a twisted ponytail.

4

One of the most frequented hair trends this fall was a low profile ponytails tied low on the nape. There were both messy and sleek versions of ponytails seen at Michael Kors and Dior’s, with metal wrappings at Carolina Herrera giving models a ladylike look.

5

For more glitz and glam, we saw golden or silver accessories in hairs making them look luxurious stylish. Then there was luxe leather fad in matte and shiny combination headbands seen on Proenza Schouler and Fendi show.

1Swarovski will be launching its first-ever, Light Up Your Life, installation in Mumbai, to be unveiled by Nathalie Colin, Creative Director and Executive Vice President, along with Francis Belin, Senior VP, Swarovski Consumer Goods Business Asia-Pacific and Sukanya Dutta Roy, MD, Swarovski Consumer Goods Business India.

Inspired by lanterns, this alluring installation has been conceptualised by leading artist-designer and scenographer, Sumant Jayakrishnan. It will be on display for a month, exemplifying the fusion of Indian heritage with modernity and will showcase the playfulness between light and darkness, which are key aspects of this concept.

“What you light is what you see! And it seemed very apt to represent the abstraction of a lantern as a ray of hope (a cental crystal and glass sculpture) physically floating above the floor standing yet tiered 3D abstraction of the quintessential thousand petalled Indian Lotus Mandala. The lower tip of the Lantern installation and upper tip of the lotus floor standing installation are perfectly aligned with a small gap in between to create the dynamic of the future unknown,”says Sumant.
