One such trend is ubiquitous leggings and stockings in neon to somber hues, printed to solid ones and sequined to casual numbers seen on the ramps this season. The versatile feminine leggings turned out to be a perfect day to evening wear, provided you pair it well, justifying its elegance.
It seems that the designers have chosen the leggings as the next winter must-have with the likes of Kavita Bhartia, Tanvi Kedia, Pratima Pandey, Varun Bahl and Kallol Dutta showing the different prints ranging from floral to pop. The sheer fabrics, digital patterns and traditional motifs created the contemporary classy to chic urban look with a heavy dose of style. Pair your leggings with tunics, kurtas and shirts, keeping the accessories minimal to let the leggings stand out.
Apart from these varyingly printed leggings, many of the designers like James Ferreira, Jason Anshu and Neeru Kumar played with bright colors creating a perfect match with draped dresses. James portrayed the femininity with neon hued stockings complimenting the flowing dresses whereas designer Neeru Kumar paired the earthy toned stockings with jackets and tunics.
Designer Rajesh Pratap Singh had sequined argyle tights paired with anti-fit silhouettes. And, designer Ashima Leena played with crystals to render the glamorous look to their collection. Similarly, Namrata Joshipura’s ankle length stockings glittered at their best to be the perfect evening wear.
