It was the baroquely adorned atrium of DLF Emporio which witnessed the lavish bridal extravaganza amidst the drama and celebrations by veteran Tarun Tahiliani. It was like a humongous wedding affair with floral and light effects among other object d’ art like a huge Swarvoski studded elephant and the palace set up which gravitated every ball and fancy. Umpteen mannequins dressed in typical Indian wedding ensembles gave an illusion of  groom’s men and bridal invitees to fill the colors and style in this parti-colored event.

The show which was commenced by Lisa Haydon strutting down the ramp in the off white structured saree further graduated to densely crystallized lehangas teamed with bra tops. Fusing more glitter and panache, there comes chiffon and silk draped masterpieces in beige, ivory and crème with breath taking prints and embroideries narrating stories of Indian tradition.

The menswear was high on luxe and royalty ferrying the viewers to the life and grandeur of Maharajas. Mainly concocted of finely stitched graceful sherwanis in beige and red tones, the show was high on ethnicity and opulence of Indian tradition.
