A medley of fashion and art sensitively co-curated by Gaurav Gupta and Delhi Art Gallery’s Kishore Singh, head of exhibitions and publications, presented a museum of fashion designer Gaurav Gupta’s journey seen through the prism of the country’s art and culture.
A first of its kind in India the exhibition celebrates the10th anniversary of the eponymous label and opening of the first Gaurav Gupta store in Mumbai at Kalaghoda. Seen making a style statement in stunning Gaurav Gupta couture were Shruti Hassan, Anushka Manchanda, Kiran Rao, Manasi Scott, Suchitra Pillai and Bandana Tewari, with models Ricky and Tara besides the host of celebrities from Arjun Kapoor, Mohit Marwah, Zayed Khan, AD & Sabina Singh, Sabina & Anil Chopra, Anaita Shroff Adajania, Aparna Badlani, Nisha Jamwval, Farrokh Chottia, Pratima & Gaurav Bhatia, Akanksha Nanda, Meera Mahadevia and Kadambari Lakhani amongst many others.
