In an evening soiree hosted by Bharat Shah founder Ekaya with daughter Palak Shah and Himanshu & Dhruti Dogra of Play Clan,Ekaya has collaborated with Play Clan for a rich and trendy collection marrying Ekaya’s mastery over craftsmanship with Play Clan’s eclectic visual style.
An exploration of classical Indian dance forms on exquisite hand woven Banras saris shone in all their brilliance at a special evening to celebrate the collaboration by hosts Bharat Shah with daughter Palak Shah of Ekaya with HImanshu & Dhruti Dogra of Play Clan.
Titled “Nritya” by Play Clan for Ekaya, the brilliance of Indian colors came alive on bold graphics on lehenga sets, saris and dupattas. Capital’s textile, design and fashion enthusiasts who came to view the collection exhibit included: Mr. Sunil Sethi, president, FDCI, designers Payal Pratap Singh, Poonam Bhagat, Neeru Kumar and Gaurav Gupta of Akaaro, product designer Alex Davis, acclaimed photographer Tarun Khiwal with wife Ritu, jewelery designer Niharika Shekhawat, Punit Jasuja and Harmeet Bajaj amongst others.
