It was said that Jehangir Art Gallery had not seen such a rocking evening ever before. Nisha JamVwal hosted a champagne cocktail, at the Gallery for Mumbai’s celeb set and industrialists to present good friend Artist Niladri Paul to the Art Connoisseurs and culturatti. And Mumbai’s Jet set turned up with élan to celebrate the evening while Niladri Paul painted a large canvas live through the evening. 

The painting show was a great hit, and the highpoint was the canvas that came alive before the eyes of the audience as Niladri splashed color and stroke with bold heavy motion, tempo, vigor, liveliness. 

Nisha JamVwal who has been a well known Art collector, curator and writer ensured that all guests were taken through the oeuvre of works on display while she spoke about the works describing them as a magnificent journey from the vivid imagination of the artist to the viewer. 

Guests who thronged the gallery consisted of a mixed medley of Bombay’s élite some of whom were Niranjan Hiranandani, Actors Shama Sikender & Tulip Joshi, Shaina NC, Mamta Raja, Reena Wadhwa, US Consul General Paul Folmsbe, Us Trade Consul Richard Rothman with wife Tabu who are often seen on the social circuit, Anil Dharker, Rakesh Jhunjhunwalla, Surendra Hiranandani, Parvez Damania, Industrialist Niraj Bajaj with wife Minal, Lawyers Dilip Jhangiani & Satish Manashinde, Producer Uday Singh.
