With some flourishing retail stores in Delhi and Dubai, acclaimed designer Mayyur R Girortra launched his latest couture collection at his new flagship store in Mumbai. Having already created a niche by creating exquisite bridal wear, Mayyur’s latest creations are diversely inspired by the majestic Victorian era, rich architectural heritage and traditional thread work of North India to hint on a few.
Using variegated colour theme, flamboyant silhouettes and grand embroideries, Mayyur’s collection in the Mumbai store highlights the use of Zardosi, Resham, Jamavar, Chickenkari embroideries in contemporary cuts.
Celebrating the occasion with Mayyur were popular Bollywood celebrities like Karisma Kapoor, Amrita Rao, Terence Lewis and Sunny Leone among other friends and family.
