In an attempt to empower the underprivileged and bring their cause to the mainstream, muralist Rouble Nagi and actress-entrepreneur Sushmita Sen joined hands to co-host a Power Luncheon for Women on 30th April in Mumbai.

Where Rouble is known for ‘Rouble Nagi Art Foundation’, Sushmita Sen has also made a difference with her ‘I AM’ Foundation. Sushmita has always been popular for her volunteering attitude regarding events for and with a cause, and Rouble has been continuously working to help the under-privileged students achieve their dreams through her art camps. The artist has also offered a helping hand in bringing five social organizations together for a noble cause.

The luncheon was comprised of discussions including the education of these kids along with a number of other NGO heads. Offering their support, present at the event were Malaika Khan, Zarine Khan, Aditi Deshmukh, Wardha Nadiadwala, Ameesha Patel, Reshma Merchant, Shaheen Abbas, Priti Mehta, Rinaa Shah, Shailaja Patil, Roopa Vohra, Sangeeta Singh, Kiran Bawa, Nazneen Bedi and others.
