Established as a model of academic, co-curricular, sporting and cultural prowess, Jamnabai Narsee School celebrated their 50th year with a mega Golden Jubilee event.

Founded by the Narsee Monjee Educational Trust on 17th January, 1971, Jamnabai Narsee School is a premier unaided, co-educational institution that continues to remain true to its motto ‘Vidya Param Balam’- Knowledge is Strength Supreme.

To commemorate this special occasion, there was a lighting of the lamp by school Trustees and hosts for the evening Mr. Jairaj Thacker & Mr. Sujay Jairaj who played gracious hosts to guests such as Maniesh Paul, Poonam Dhillon, Sharman Joshi, Sonali Bendre, Aaditya Thackeray, Nikhil Dwivedi, Anu Malik, Priti Jhangiani & Parvin Dabas, Ashok Hinduja, Asif Bhamla and many more.

The alumni such as Raveena Tandon and Armaan Malik, reminisced about their school days and were delighted to be a part of the golden jubilee celebration, a huge educational milestone in this day and age.

To start the evening school students performed Indian classical dances. The highlight of the evening was renowned flautist Pt. Shri Hariprasadji Chaurasia and percussionist Shri Taufiq Qureshi, who mesmerised the audience with their live performance, “UTSAV”.

Speaking at the school’s golden anniversary, Mr. Jairaj Thacker, Managing Trustee said, “Our founding fathers’ keen desire to offer an advantageous platform has resulted in a reputed institution celebrating its 50th Foundation Day today. Various initiatives with a vision to make the future brighter fuel us towards further milestones”.
