Rina Dhaka presented her Hi- Summer Collection’11 over cocktails at DLF Emporio last evening. Juxtaposing the shine of Swarovski crystals with the rustic appeal of jute she unveiled a stylish and sparkling line for the contemporary woman.

Setting in the mood of a pastel summer, Rina showcased her collection in a pale and nude color palette in cotton, chiffon, linen tulle and crinkle cotton. Rich blending of cream linen jerseys fused with borderline reveal the modern chic and the Indian look created by the designer. The collections blended the ancient heritage with a modern twist, with a mission for a continuous quest for craftsmanship, glamour and reverie.

“Summer is all about going pastel, looking calm in flowy silhouettes and adding a dash of bling to an otherwise refreshing ensemble. My look this summer is bling yet understated modern yet rustic….simply a coming together of two diverse worlds,”said Rina.

Rina has also shown this collection in Anthropology USA that is apparently one of the celebrated fashion stores in United States. The fashion installation by Rina is an ode to Indian fashion and an attempt to culminate the ongoing luxury shopping festival at DLF Emporio.
