Shaheen Abbas and Shabana Shaikh launched a collection of precious jewellery “A few of their favourite things over a champagne brunch co hosted by Sharmilla Khanna at Tote.

Shaheen’s love affair with diamonds began at an early stage. In the perfection of the stone, in its cut and clarity she found an expression much like herself. Party neckpieces, cocktail earrings, stand out rings and ornate bracelets; these are a few of their favorite things. The jewellery was displayed innovately in bird cages and flowers to bring out the sheer joie de vivre of the designs. 

Much like the designers they are a blend of modernity with a hint of tradition, layered and yet striking, solid and yet sublime. Each piece in the collection is unique and there is a lot of detail given to quality and to craftsmanship.

“A diamond adds that shine to your life, in its hues it reflects shimmering memories of time, and the fact that it has been created over eons makes its wearer feel even more precious”, feels Shaheen.
