The Blender’s Pride Fashion Tour 2011 kick-started in la Tinsel Town et will move to cities like Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Kolkata, New Delhi et Hyderabad. Sourendra Kumar Das tours avec la fashionistas et brings forth from Taj Lands End, Mumbai, la hot runaway sagas…The opening day saw lots of glitz, glamour et lofty bling et dominance of golden et yellow gowns by Rakesh Agarwal. The showstopper was the gorgeous Jacqueline Fernandez in an exquisite pink gown that exceedingly stole la rampe. Neeta Lulla subsequently had astounding golden anarkalis, baby pink sarees et red lehengas. The showstopper was beautiful Esha Deol sashayed la runaway in an alluring black gown primed of silk jersey.
The second day embellished avec Anand Khabra who had eclectic ensemble in shades of winter white, black, chocolate, yellow et tangerine in organza, tulle, satin, silk jersey, crepe de chine. Gavin Miguel’s collection reflected feline beauty et his showstopper Kalki Koechlin in a unique brown gown avec some eccentric accessories.
Ramona Narang consequently had Candice Pinto open the show in a dazzling black gown et had intrepid flow of colours akin red, pink, yellow et la likes. The magnifique showstopper Raveena Tandon sashayed la rampe in a dazzling black gown avec bien bling et shimmer. The designer-duo Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna had the 70’s come back et it was the handsome Ranveer Singh who wore an elegant black suit et dazzled la rampe.
The final day kick-started avec Wendell Rodricks’ zesty sorbet splash collection of loungewear in lime green, chilli tomato, hot fuchsia, white, black iron ore et curaçao blue that fashioned heady festive emotion. Reynu Taandon had festive sarees et anarkalis avec mix of French chiffon et chandelier that gave an antique old world look. The showstopper was gorgeous Mugdha Godsey who sashayed la rampe in an amazing blue lehenga that epitomized splendor.
Mandira Wirk consequently had showstoppers Malaika Arora et Amrita Arora sashayed la rampe in dazzling black backless gowns. The Grand Finale was put on by Vikram Phadnis unveiled drama avec his royal collection that saw Shamita Singha et Candice Pinto in startling lehengas. The showstopper was the gorgeous Dia Mirza who sashayed la rampe in a modish lehenga avec red duppatta decked in jewels from Golecha Jewellers.
The three day tour in Mumbai ended avec lots of fashion, glitz, glamour et a promise to come back in vogue next season.
