Photographers’ Guild of India (PGI) comprising thee leading photographers of the country hosted a preview for Exhibit ‘A’ at Gallery BMB in Mumbai.

Exhibit ‘A’ is a photographic exhibition of personal images created by India’s foremost photographers. The photographs exhibited represent the soul of the artist, driven purely by zeal and instinct and not by the rigid guidelines of commercial/advertising photography.

India’s very own, Atul Kasbekar Chairman, PGI, said, “Exhibit ‘A’ is an event where all we photographers exhibit our work together under one roof and also it is an opportunity for the students to exhibit their work with known names in the industry. This exhibition is basically to promote photography as an art form and to promote photography amongst youngsters as career.”  

Seen at the preview at Gallery BMB were photographers like Dia Mehta, Director of Gallery BMB (who is also a photographer and whose work is a part of the show), Jatin Kampani, Atul Kasbekar, Jaideep Oberoi, Avinash Gowarikar,Vicky Idnani, Sameer Parekh, Colston Julian, Sumeet Chopra, Bhairavi Parikh amongst many other leading lights of photography. Other guests admiring the stunning & diverse works on display were Kiran Rao, Sulaiman & Reshma Merchant, Narendra Kumar, Nachiket Barve, Payal Khandwala, Bharat Dabholkar, Ananya Dutt, Nisha Merchant, Farid Currim, Diandra Soares amongst many other friends, wellwishers and admirers.
