When it’s the label diesel, things has to be exquisite, just like one of its recent evening affaire which was organized in alignment with Kanchi Mehta, the curator of Chameleon Art Projects at its Juhu outlet to unwrap the latest show by Diesel+Art. The show titled as Did Anyone Notice…? is an initiative by both the labels to seek out and showcase the future rockstars of the art world.    

The show will sport 11 cutting-edge Mumbai artists named Charmi Gada Shah, Maadol Mukherjee, Soazic Guezennec, Grandmother India, Mukul Deora, Pat, Vivek Vilasini, Ratna Gupta, Ali Akbar Mehta, Munir Kabani and Rajendra Kapse. The artists in this exhibition had been selected from various practices and schools of thought, working with diverse media, like Painting, Installation, Photography, Video, Performance and Design. Their works reflect individuality, socio-economic issues, sexuality and cultural satire.      

A horde of guests which was no less than hundred was spotted making the evening extra momentous. While Bhavishyavani Future Soundz, the Cult electronic music collective initiated a special live DJ set to enhance this evening soiree with chill out grooves accompanied with flowing drinks and delicious organic nibbles. The husband and wife duo Shilarna Vaze and Christophe Perrin of Ninja Sushi, Vikram Raizada, Pria Kataria Puri, Shahid Datawala, Sita Wadhwani, Milena Raskovic, Sunder Aaron were some of the culture vultures of the creative abode amongst many more who were spotted  taking pleasure of this eventful mélange. 

The exhibition will continue hitting the city till March 18th 2012.
