Of late, Sahchari Foundation hosted a sneak preview of the Spring Summer edition of Design One 2013 – the shopping extravaganza to be held on March 7, 2013 at the heritage location of the Royal Western India Turf Club, Mumbai – at the Cafe at the NCPA, Mumbai.
The first ever Spring Summer Edition of Design One will present a wide array of garments, saris, accessories, footwear, jewellery, stationery, gifting ideas, kidswear and home accessories, on the Main Lawns of the Turf Club. The one-day exhibition will help to raise funds for deserving NGOs supported by the Sahachari Foundation in the areas of education, socio-economic upliftment, animal welfare and healthcare.
About the preview Gauri Pohoomul of the Sahchari Foundation said, “This was an evening to showcase what our participants have created for the upcoming Spring Summer edition of Design One. We are happy to offer this new capsule of the show, in a format that celebrates the season and also once again supports deserving NGOs like the BSPCA and their adorable animals.”
The event was attended by some of the illustrious names of the city including Zarine Khan, Shahzan Padamsee, Vidya Malavade, Kristina Akheeva, Surily Goel, Ritika Bharwani, Pallavi Hiremath, Vidhi Seth, Perizaad Kolah, Dilshad Khambata, Keykashan Patel, Laila Lamba, Anushka Rajan, Aashika Mehta, Amrita Kilachand, Bijal Meswani, and Nilima Kilachand amongst others.
The cynosures of the event were the adorable doggies and cats representing the NGO Bombay Society for Presevention of Cruelty to Animals (BSPCA), which is one of the charities being supported by Design One.
