Committed Communities Development Trust (CCDT) founded in 1990 is a voluntary, secular registered Trust. CCDT works with communities in the field of HIV/AIDS, Health & Nutrition, Child Protection and Adolescent & Youth Empowerment using a rights-based approach, for a sustainable change in Society.
On the eve of World Aid’s Day, CCDT commemorated its Silver Jubilee year by hosting a musical evening, “Together with the Power of Love” with songs, dance and a short film on how, together we can make a difference to the lives of vulnerable children and their families. CCDT’s theme for marking their silver jubilee was “Together”.
The CCDT children performed a skit and dance that gave them an opportunity to express their feelings and showcase their talent. Randhir Kapoor, Rishi and Neetu Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor were present as guests of honour to celebrate the beginning of a new benchmark for CCDT. Other supporters such as Gauri Pohoomul, Reema Kapoor Jain with husband Manoj, Siddharth Anand, Haseena Jethmalani, Abu Jani, Sandeep Khosla, Saudamini Mattu, Meena and Suresh Raheja, Dinesh and Madhu Nair, Roopa Fabiani and many more participated in motivating the children through an interactive session.
