Cartier Polo ChallengeWith the finishing of the 7th Cartier International Dubai Polo Challenge 2012, the Cartier team proudly acclaims them the winner beating the Desert Palm by 10-9. This is for the first time Cartier’s have dazzled their own gala with such accolades. The match was hosted at the exotic location of Desert Palm by HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, wife of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Four teams presented their skills during the polo match.

HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum along with Charlotte Casiraghi a guest, Bernard Fornas, Chief Executive of Cartier and Louis Ferla, Managing Director of Cartier Dubai handed over the winning trophies to the players with great pleasure. Adriano Agosti from the Cartier’s stepped forward to receive the trophy. While his team-mate, Mohammed Bin Drai, was addressed as the Most Valuable Player. Bin Drai was presented with a pair of polo boots and kneepads by La Martina. Cartier’s Juan Jose Brane received a La Martina saddle for the Best Playing Pony from Charlotte Casiraghi. After the main presentations were over HH Sheikh Mansour and Ali Albwardy presented a cheque to Satish Seemar, Director of the Riding for the Disabled Association of Dubai which is based at the Desert Palm.

The venue saw more than 400 guests enjoying some great polo along with the sumptuous hospitality courtesy of the team, which made it one of the most memorable gala to remember.
