The 16 years of one of the South Asia’s leading art magazines, Art India, were commemorated recently with a celebratory evening hosted by Sangita Jindal at The Four Seasons Hotel, Mumbai.
The evening saw an interesting conversation centered on art and a humorous rapid fire round between SangitaJindal and the ex-editors of the magazine. Also unveiled was the 16th anniversary issue dedicated to comic art.
On the occasion Sangita said, “It was a nostalgic event for me and the Art India’s team. We are overwhelmed by the responses we have got from well-wishers and members of the art fraternity. Here’s looking forward to our 100th Issue.”
The event was well-attended by who’s who of the art, entertainment and fashion world including Akbar Padamsee, LaxmanShreshtha, Bose Krishnamachari, SarayuDoshi, NamitaSaraf, SiddharthKak, Gauri Pohoomull, Czaee Shah, Harsh Goenka, Nawaz Singhania, Farah Siddiqui, MallikaAdvani, Atul& Anju Dodiya, Sangita Chopra, Deveika& Suresh Bhojwani, Soha Parekh, PrafullaDahanukar, PriyasriPatodia, GeetuHinduja, Farzana Contractor, AbhayMaskara, Jaydeep and Seema Mehrohtra amongst others.
