One of India’s most reputed art festivals, the 6th Edition of ‘Art Bengaluru’ aims to go beyond the canvas, celebrating art in its myriad forms with the theme ‘Paradigm Shift’. In keeping with this theme, Art Bengaluru hopes to promote a discovery of the arts from a change-inducing standpoint.
Moreover, unlike in previous years where the focus was on presenting different galleries from across the globe, this year will witness a global festival, celebrating national and international artists. There will be over 25 exhibits showcasing sculptures, installations, paintings and photography. There will also be a curated Video Lounge as well as a Photography Wall.
The art is being curated by Suresh Jayaram, an artist, art historian, arts administrator and curator of national repute, he is a well-known name in the art world. There will also be curated walks by Mr. Jayaram, as well as trained art guides, to give visitors an in-depth and holistic understanding of the festival and the artworks on display.
