From the man who gave the city "Joss" one of the finest Far Eastern cuisine restaurants and “Rampart Row Banquets” and "Catering & Allied" a much sought after catering unit, comes yet another sublime offering ………..Farrokh Khambata proudly presents "Amadeus" at the National Centre Of Performing Arts, Nariman Point, Mumbai.

At "Amadeus", Farrokh presents a gourmand experience, par excellence. An innovative repertoire of Levantine, Spanish and Eastern Mediterranean cuisine, at par with the best international culinary standards and trends, take fine dining in the city to the next level.

As guests walked into the lavish space, they were greeted with the elegantly appointed bar which had a live band rocking the night away with a mix of retro & new age numbers. The bar lead into the plush restaurant area and private dining room. The menu for the night featuring Levantine & Spanish specialites like Albigondas of Lamb, Sherry Stuffed Goats Cheese in Mushrooms, Chicken Pinchos glazed with Hariisa Tzatziki, Serrano Ham Cocas (flat bread), Tagine of Apricot & Chicken, Salmon with Kefir & Juniper, Lamb Rack with Avacado. The meal ended with signature desserts like Tarte Tatin of Golden Apples with Cinnamon, Chocolate & Grand Marnier Souffle.

Special Opening Parties were hosted by Farrokh Khambata with wife Dilshad over the weekend of 1st and 2nd July 2011 which saw the whos who of the city in attendance. Seen admiring the chic ambiences & enjoying the refreshingly new cuisine were guests like Shobhaa & Dilip De, Dipti Salgaoncar, Laxman & Sunita Shreshta, Kunika Singh, Rina Shah, Schauna & Bikram Saluja, Sharmilla & Shaan Khanna, Divya Mohta,  Queenie Singh, Farhad Taraporewala, Madhoo Shah, Rukshana Eisa, Anna Bredmeyer, Pooja Bedi, Vidya Malvade, Dipti Bhatnagar, Azeem & Sameena Khan, Lata Patel, Suresh & Deveika Bhojwani, Nisha Javeri, Samrat & Shalini Zaveri, Alka Nishar, Gary Lawyer amongst several other beautiful people of Mumbai.
