The World’s leading luxury Scotch whiskey , Royal Salute entered in its fourth successive year of partnership with the international polo community for The Royal Salute Maharaja of Jodhpur Golden Jubilee Cup. Set in the majestic foothills of the Royal Umaid Bhawan Palace, the high profile event was attended by a string of honorable guests from across the globe.For this year’s event , designer Raghavendra Rathore has been roped in who intends to showcase through his collection the precious resources of Rajasthan , the gem among them being the wildcats of Rajasthan , like the tiger and panther and various other motifs and textures synonymous with his belt , mainly Ranthambore , exemplifying the magnificence of Jodhpur. The celebrations for this much awaited event begin this year with a preview event hosted by Royal Salute and His Highness Gaj Singh II .
The polo event will be played from December 25th to December 31st , culminating with The Maharaja Jodhpur’s New Years Eve procession at the Mehrangarh Fort , set on a cliff top 500m , above the city of Jodhpur making it one of the most spectacular place for the New Year’s Eve celebrations in the world. Not only this event include the most spectacular parties at various heritage properties and palaces , but also a vintage car rally on the last day of the event as its main highlights.
