Tells us something about your background and upbringing?
I belong to Argentina. My family consists of 7 members including me, my mom Stella, my father Diego, my two sisters Romina and Valentina and my two brothers Matias and Fernando.
I finished primary school in Mendoza which is my birthplace. Then I went to high school in Buenos Aires and I started my study of Psychology at University of Buenos Aires which is one of the best universities of Latin America.

How supportive were your parents on you choosing modeling as a career?
My parents are very supportive and encouraging. They always give me a lot of freedom in my decisions. They respect and support me in everything I do and I consider myself blessed to have such parents.

What was your first step into the world of modeling?
My big break came when I won the contest Supermodel of the World 2007 by Ford Models where I was representing my country. After that I worked in the USA (New York, San Francisco, Miami, etc) with big clients like Macy´s Store, etc.

What all important assignments have u been a part of?
I have walked in Fashion weeks in India, USA and Mexico. I have also modeled for several clothing and beauty product brands. Various magazines like Cosmo, Marie Claire, Elle and Vogue have featured me.

What, according to you, is the importance of education in the field of modeling?
Very important, being a model doesn’t mean that you don’t have to study, everyone needs to have knowledge.

How has your experience been in the industry? Are substance abuse etc. as predominant as portrayed?
Well I am super happy to be where I am today and it’s all thanks to the modeling industry. So, I would say my experience has been great. About substance abuse I think that a model has to be careful about whom they work with and what agency represents them so they are in safe hands. Thankfully I have never experienced anything of that sort.

How do you think the fashion has evolved in all these years?
Fashion is a circle, it is very cyclic. There are many things which are retro or classic and they are being merged with new things that are happening in the world, which is great and brings about a new kind of freshness to the fashion scene. Also, I think Indian designers are increasingly concerned about maintaining their own cultures in representing Indian textiles and crafts, what’s better than that!
