Hair & Make-up Fashion Week 2010, commenced on the 11th April, by Bharat and Dorris, and this three day long affair buzzed with Avant-garde fashion and trend setting influences in Hair and Makeup.


Day 1

Bharat and Dorris hair and makeup fashion week was inaugurated by Arbaaz Khan lighting a traditional lamp accompanied with him was the senior make up artiste. Arbaaz said "I am very glad to have been here for the consecutive second year of B&D fashion week,”. The eventful and colourful day began with experts from B&D commencing the show with live demonstration of a perfect make up Reza for western bridal wear. It was followed by the alien looks by Avesh Dadlani. Rohit Verma opened his show with modern Bridal wear Reena Patel Miss Bollywood UK walking the ramp. The array was perfect with outfits, lovely hairdos and makeup as the entire fraternity showed their presence at the fashion week. 



Day 2

An eventful 2nd day bubbled at the week with Isha Koppikar making an appearance on the ramp in a white and black sari by Vikram Phadnis and makeup & hair by Bharat & Dorris. Dipti Gujral dressed in a white gown also walked in a creation by Vikram Phadnis.  The sequence was followed by Aaarti Chabria in the western bridal look wearing a white gown and Nethra Raghuraman walking for Asheley Rebello. Avesh Dadlani too show cased his gown collection at the event. The most spellbinding show of the day presented itself in Radha Krishna theme, which was painted in picturesque opulence and perfection by Nilesh Mane who conceptualized the look, costumes and makeup and hair. The next in row was Aditi Sharma and Jaiwant Thackeray who did the makeup for Shonal Rawat as she sashayed down the ramp wearing an Archana Kochhar ensemble. 




Day 3

The Grand finale revolved on the Bollywood retro look theme where Asha Parekh look was portrayed by Namrada Ahuja, Negar Khan flashed as Meena Kumari and Yuvika Chaudhary translated the Deepika Padukone look. Shweta Salve was in Madhuri Dixit look. Others who transcended in the Bollywood avatar were Anoushka Ranjan as Sushmita Sen, Sudipa in Sridevi and Waluscha Robinson was in a Barbie doll look. Hair and make up was by Bharat and Dorris and costumes by Archana Kochhar, Nishka Lulla, and Reza. The evening pronounced a celestial affair with the stage transforming into a beautiful fairy land. Aftab Shivdasani and Ashish Chaudhary walked in with Mishti Mukherjee who was the guest of honour for the wonderful evening.
