London Taxi witnessed the guests enjoying the exuberance of London city in Mumbai. The place boasts of the most unique and original décor that the city has seen.

Conceived and owned by renowned names from AD FILM World Sanjay Shetty, Vivek Daschaudhary and Ricky Singh Bedi who have taken hospitality veteran Dhaval Udeshi on to manage & bring this creation to life. London Taxi is inspired from the exuberance of London city, its iconic attractions, different corners of London looked through the periscope of modernity.

Offering from the best liquid concoctions created by the creative genius Ami Shroff, India’s first female flair bartender to classic gastro pub menu from across the globe with a modern interpretation and culinary techniques by award winning chef Nagraj Bhat.

Renowned personalities from the film industry and society circles walked through the doors of this youngest gastropub in ever-bustling Kamala Millsat high-powered launch. Seen thoroughly enjoying the party were Rajkumar Rao, Patraleekha, Anushka Ranjan, Deepti Gujral, Upen Patel, Vikram Raizaada, Zulfi Sayed, Shibani Kashyap, Narendar Kumar, amongst others.

Designer Nandita Mahtani, celebrated her all new evening resort wear line with friends and family who came to support her, dressed in her creation Kanika Kapoor, Pragya Kapoor, Tara Sharma, Kim Sharma, Tanishaa Mukerji, Ujjwala Raut, Bhavna Pandey, Dolly Sidhwani, Alison Kanungo.

Also present were Tusshar Kapoor, Harshvardhan Rane, Aditya Thackeray, Saqib Saleem, Sameer Dattani, Jaya Raheja, Nayantara Thacker, Indira Bodani.

Alexander Wang brought his NY fashion week show to the streets of Brooklyn by closing the street in the Bushwick, witha bus full of top models, stepped off one-by-one in Wang’s creations, beginning with newbie Kaia Gerber.

The show was full of clothes with Wang’s deconstructed shirts and minidresses were the focus — sleeves were taken off armholes and tied across bodices. Slip dresses had lace detailing, making them appear more negligée than dress. Black pants were mixes of jean and leather.

This collection an effortless city translated on the catwalk through a pretty Play-Doh pastel palette, mixed up with contrasting shades. Uber feminine touches were also present in the sheer organza skirts, which were layered over longline mannish shirts detailed with “math class graph paper check”, along with ruffled collar blouses and featherlight gossamer suiting.

A lightweight silk trench coat, decorated with a cascade of ruffles, was one the favourite pieces of designer not to miss the sparkly shoes, and chunky ankle chains.

Drawing inspiration from the1920’s, the new collection is far different from her signature easy breezy lounge wear. The collection encapsulates slip dresses with plunging necklines, short embellished fringed dresses, sexy metallic draped gowns and much more. Fluid fabrics blended with a kaleidoscope of pastel hues like sorbet pinks, spearmint greens running to amalgamations of bold metallics like champagne golds, starry silvers, amber bronze along with statement monochromes evoke the sublime beauty of each creation. Lavish interplay of elegant and soft hues of the rainbow are also noticed in this array. Adding to that, one can also notice a varied mix of embellishments, from fun scallop motifs, hand done lace, fluid tassels, sparkling fringes, to detailed bead work.

Strong sense of 1920’s drama, Nandita explains, “I truly resonate with Lucid Dreams this season, since my style ethos is completely in sync with it! This collection is easy to slip on, and fits any body type beautifully. The movement and fluidity of each garment is carefully curated to spell glamour. It exudes a sense a romance with its sensual cuts and beautiful embellishments. It is the perfect ensemble to take with you to a destination wedding or for a cocktail party.”

Jeremy Scott celebrated 20 years of his label on Friday night, with a fun-loving New York Fashion Week show SS18. A quickly visible theme was snakeskin, in bright neon colours. And there was a series of looks with huge, fake colorful gems, which the designer calls it as body jewellery.

The clothes were a mix of sport and glam, with cartoon-festooned biker jackets and sports jerseys; couture-ruffle trimmed backpacks and belt bags; crystal mesh anorak dresses and supersized-jewel encrusted sheer black gowns fit for a star on either coast.

Scott also released a limited-edition capsule collection that features reinterpretations of his iconic designs, including graffiti printed tees, sweatshirts and denim jackets that read, “Keep Fashion Weird” and “Viva Avant Garde,”.

the three aesthetics, Adam Dalton Blake’s take on tennis channeled a street vibe, while Tiffany Huang’s ghost-inspired collection brimmed with joy and was coolly enhanced via an augmented reality app developed by Kailu Guan, who is also a CFDA+ alum. Ghazaleh Khalifeh’s layered textures, meanwhile, exuded pure romance with a nod to the depth of her Persian heritage.

I love seeing this project come to life and how everybody is interacting with my garments.” said Tiffany Huang, who found it all very “surreal.” Ghazaleh Khalifeh couldn’t conceal her joy. “I feel completely elated,” she said. “I feel as if I am drifting on a wave of color and amazing support.”

While Adam Dalton Blake called this moment at Pier 59 “everything every little girl or boy dreams of.
