Every year since 2012, the Maison has staged that year’s zodiac sign on the dial of one of its ultra-thin Altiplano watches, masterfully handcrafted in the great Grand Feu cloisonné enamelling tradition. In 2017 the rooster joins the limited edition collection, creatively interpreted within the confines of the watch’s extremely thin case.

Carolina Herrera has filed a lawsuit against Oscar de la Renta, as Laura Kim, former House of Herrera consultant and co-founder of Monse, was due for joining Oscar de la Renta.

A new lawsuit alleges that an executive tried to push Carolina Herrera out of creative control, failed, and then left to work for Oscar de la Renta. Further Laura Kim rejected a $1 million offer from CEO Francois Kress to become the house’s creative director last July.

Additionally, the suit alleges that Kim violated her six-month non-compete when she accepted a position as creative designer at competing house Oscar de la Renta. Following her departure, Herrera’s collection flopped and the house lost business. So they seek to bar Kim from jumping to de la Renta until April 2017

The house of Dior unveils the ready-to-wear campaign for spring-summer 2017, the first collection under the new artistic director, Maria Grazia Chiuri.

The creations, imbued with feminist values, are captured by the French photographer Brigitte Lacombe and embodied by the twin models Ruth and May Bell.

The campaign forms part of a wider project: The Women Behind the Lens, a body of photographic work made exclusively by women delivering their personal vision of the collection.

In a series of aesthetically spare shots, the photographer Brigitte Lacombe highlights the distinctly different characters of each of these twin sisters in order to illustrate Maria Grazia Chiuri’s conception of Dior femininity.

This new campaign emphasizes a modern beauty which places the woman at the center. Mixing sporty agility with sensuality, whether expressed by an embroidered tulle evening dress or a fencing-inspired out t, the femininity of the two models is singular and assured. The softness the images exude is additionally accentuated by the natural hairstyles and the Nude makeup look designed by Peter Philips, the Creative and Image Director of Dior makeup.

430Pet Fed made a comeback with its third annual edition in Delhi at the NSIC Grounds, Okhla, with about 2500 pets graced the festival.

The festival witnessed a fashion show for pets with Dino Morea as showstopper, who himself is an avid supporter and friend of the festival. He walked the ramp with one of the lucky visiting dogs for which Pet Fed ran a contest on its facebook page.

With 3 acres of lush green area and 10,000 sq. ft. off-leash zones, this year the numbers of activities were nearly doubled with dog swings & rides, dedicated cat zone, pet bakeries alongside 100 stalls from across the country for pets & pet parents.

The two day festival highlight was a special art gallery for dogs made scientifically for the dogs to be able to recognize the patterns and a one of a kind doggy café in partnership with Puppychino, serving everything from doggy beer to doggy pizza .

Amway India, organized a dazzling ‘the attitude fashion show’ in Mumbai, providing a platform to the distributors to showcase their talent on the ramp.

A professional choreographer shortlisted 27 finalists, aged between 18- 40 years from the big pool of nominations and grooming them for the show. While the Female contestants enlivened their presence wearing some of the most vibrant colors, male contestants walked the ramp displaying breath-taking hair styles.

The fashion show comprised three themes – Fusion, Go Green and Carry Your Attitude Traditional, The jury panel included Ms. Surabhi Wahal, Regional Director, Western Region, Amcham India, Akkriti Anand Singh, Model, Actress and Anchor and Mr. Rajeev Sharma, General Manager, Corporate Partnerships, Smile Foundation.
