Burberry’s Ramadan campaign
To celebrate the month of Ramadan, Burberry brings an exclusive collection of its latest runway bags. The collection is showcased alongside floor-length lightweight evening dresses in a dedicated Ramadan campaign featuring British model Eliza Fairbanks, shot in the Middle East.
Each one-of-a-kind Patchwork bag is individually designed for Ramadan and named after a British town, street or village and is available in a variety of materials and fabrics including metal studs, sequins and crystals.
Designed in London and made in Italy, the specially curated collection of floor-length evening dresses are available in lightweight fabrics including cotton blended tulle, silk and woven lace.
IWC Schaffhausen Launches Skywriter
IWC Schaffhausen launched the global digital campaign SKYWRITER, which invites online audiences to digitally write a message in a virtual sky and share it with third parties. Users are able to select one out of four vintage airplanes associated with the four IWC Pilot’s Watches universe .The personalized message appears in the sky after virtually flying the airplane along a given path. The final message can be shared via social media.
SKYWRITER is another milestone in IWC’s current #B_ORIGINAL campaign for the new Pilot’s Watches collection launched during the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) 2016 in Geneva.
CFDA Awards 2016: Red Carpet Looks
Joel McHale hosted the evening along with presenters Claire Danes for the Womenswear Designer of the Year; Alexander Skarsgård for Menswear Designer of the Year, and Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson for the Accessory Designer of the Year category for the 2016 CFDA awards in New York city.
Meanwhile, Karlie Kloss, Swarovski’s new brand ambassador, was joined by actor Ansel Elgort as the two presented the Swarovski Awards for Womenswear, Menswear and Accessory.

The much anticipated 2016 CFDA awards celebrated the winners evening at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.

With the International Award went to Alessandro Michele of Gucci. There was a surprise appearance by none other than Beyonce, who was honored with the Fashion Icon Award while Tilda Swinton accepted the Board of Directors’ Tribute Award on behalf of the late David Bowie.

Cafe Public Connection, Connaught Place, launched their Glam & Grub Wednesday Nights with a whole new sizzle and fashion extravaganza by renowned designers Joy Mitra & Ambar Pariddi Sahai.
While Ambar Pariddi Sahai showcased her fine jewelley line taking inspiration from Snow White with everlasting Gold nestling with Diamonds, Polkis, Sapphires and Pearls; Joy Mitra’s ensembles had an influence of western medieval style in silhouettes and bugs, butterflies, dragon flies & creepers as motifs.
The colorful soiree was well attended by the crème de la crème of the society which includes Vibha Galhotra, Gopika Pillai, Rashmi Varmani, Shefali Talwar, Super Sonalika Sahay & Donna Katherine Masih ,Ramola Bachchan. Bene Captus VI by Symbiosis School of Photography
Bene Captus VI, is the sixth edition of the exhibition by the students of Symbiosis School of Photography. More than 250 images are being exhibited ranging from fashion, photojournalism, commercial, fine art, wild life and others.
The excitement and passion for photography is seen in every single caption of the photographs which read:
1. Fashion’s ongoing love affair with floral prints continues in the next season with a myriad of designers offering up their take on the iconic pattern. These images are based on variations of the garden theme.
2. Feet, what do I need you for when I have wings to fly? Frida Kahlo
3. The unique elements of the three great periods (Byzantine-Lombard, Gothic and Renaissance) have maintained precise characteristics and distinctive designs, in spite of their fluid evolution, and disappear and reappear cyclically like an underground river in Fashion.
