Michael Kors Regent Street Store Opening Cocktail PartyMichael Kors celebrates the opening of the brand’s newest flagship store located on Regent Street in London. The newly opened store is the largest Michael Kors store in Europe and carries all product categories for Michael Kors.

The brand has partnered with award-winning artist Clym Evernden to create one-of- a-kind illustrations celebrating Michael Kors in London. The imagery will be displayed in the windows of the Regent Street store through summer.

In celebration of this milestone, Mr. Kors hosted a cocktail, several celebrates spotted at the dinner dressed in Michael Kors were Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Chastain, Solange Knowles, Solange Knowles alongside John Idol, Ron Dennis,Lance LePere, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Chastain, , Fernando Alonso, Jenson Button, Stoffel Vandoorne, and many more who attended the event.

The worlds of fashion and football united on the front row for Louis Vuitton as brands menswear designer, Kim Jones, showcased his SS17 in an open-air setting at Domaine national du Palais Royal with his men wearing danglers. As for others there were silk shirts with giraffe heads and big cats, silk velvet coats, bomber jackets, zebra print tops, shoes and boxy case.

Ricky Owens models descended the stairs to the runway in oversized trousers of pale grey fabric, with sequins arranged on arms and shoulders like armour. Materials were transformative, enveloping the body in varied translucencies; tops and jackets were tight whilst trousers bulged

Yusuke Takahashi of Issey Miyake Men spring-summer 2017 collection was Journey from a white page. Inspired by the city of Varanasi, India, and its eclectic styles, he showcased off-white wrinkled silhouettes. Fabrics were soft and textured, gradually; color appears in the collection, with dynamic patterns taking inspiration from the Holi festival.

430Master couturiers Meera and Muzaffar Ali showcased their collection inspired by the most stylish laptop by HP India- Spectre 13, at Kotwara Farms. To commemorate this celebration Muzaffar Ali has designed a special sleeve camouflaged in his paintings that inspire his films and designs.

Combining the two, HP India’s newly launched Spectre 13, the worlds thinnest, is a visual delight to make each moment of creativity an experience of beauty and so was the collection by the designers, a perfect showcase of timeless aesthetics & designs essayed through contemporary silhouette. Exquisite Awadhi embroidery, on modern cuts, set in colors of white, silver, grey, gold and black was a perfect interpretation of the newly launched HP Spectre 13.

The first major show was from Balenciaga, its first ever men’s runway show, designed by Demna Gvasalia was an experiment of sartorial elegance which consisted of protruding shoulders on blazers, coats and bombers which extended wide and far from the body, to super-tight shorts just below the knees and placement of buttons.

Valentino’s Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli menswear show had subtle military references in field jackets, flying eagle motifs and duster coats.

The final day of Milan Men’s fashion week SS17 had to the likes of Gucci, Fendi, Etro, Emporio Armani strutting down the runway.

MSGM, the quintessential brand showcased playful sports-prep, which included cycling jerseys, acid-splashed denim macs, warped argyle patterns and shorts with flames running up the sides. While Chinese fashion graduate Jun-Li’s SS17 tailoring was smart which came in one-button jackets with trailing strips of fabric and exposed seams,csleeveless overcoats and the waistcoat.

Rajdeep Ranawat introduces ‘Bali’ through his AW 16 collection, capturing the essence of the namesake city with an elephant as his backdrop in the wetlands of Ubud’s rice plantation fields; he has showcased his resort and luxury pret range for both women and menswear.

The collection is an amalgamation of 4 different themes within the region of Indonesia inspired by the various arts, crafts and architecture around, apart from Bali’s stunning tropical motif from nature.

The season starts with the theme ‘Chintz’, inspired by the Victorian and old world artworks of wallpapers and motifs from the garments of the Chinese and Indonesian royals to be transformed into pretty prints on resort clothing in hues of ivory, creme, beige, mustards with a dash of olive and navy highlighted in beautiful chintz florals in reds, whites and pinks.

While ‘Ubud’, is a festive and vibrant inspired by the hand illustrated temples and motifs from the tropical forests of the region. Playful foliage of orchids, jasmine and palm leaves are meticulously hand illustrated with gorgeous Macaws, Hornbills and monkeys from the forests to create this fun and quirky range in luxurious chiffons and silks in the form of kaftans, jumpsuits, tunics, hilo tops and comfy culottes. The palette includes raspberry, cobalt, emerald, beetroot, mint and mustard for the start of a fabulous festive season.

Moving on to ‘Batik’, the craft synonymous to Indonesia is interpreted in the form of high resolution prints on silks in tie dye techniques of Shibori were superimposed with motifs derived from the temples and other forms of crafts from Bali in layered silhouettes perfect for travel or any casual outing. This range is mostly created in soft and fine thread count cottons combined with silk organza prints for a formal look with translucency in the casual range itself. Colours like indigo, cobalt, ivory, beige, mustard have been used vigorously to compliment the prints.

The season concludes with ‘Svargaloka’, inspired by the ancient temples in Bali and Ubud regions of Indonesia, with intricate details of the carvings and woodwork apart from their rich gold paintings on the doors and pillars as well. This collection is a perfect start to the end of the year into January with Christmas and New Year where the prints only compliment the mood in the hues of navy, orange, black, charcoal, grey and ivory.
