“How Big How Blue How Beautiful”, Florence + The Machine third album release, saw Florence confidently resume her place in the limelight. The album went straight in at number 1 in the UK, US and 22 other countries, receiving a Mercury Prize nomination and securing 5 Grammy nominations.

sGaro’ by Priyangsu Maji and Sweta Tantia S/R 2016 is called ‘FEMMES di TAHITI’, inspired by native tahitian prints, colours and motifs. It incorporates the stunning natural beauty; beautiful floral landscapes and bohemian style of tahitian women with an eclectic french Polynesian flavour.

The garments are easy flowing silhouettes having a soft handloom chanderi, cotton matko, woven bapta silk and chiffon textures with vibrant colours straight out of works of the master of avant-garde Paul Gauguin.

aAsa Kazingmei’s collection is called ‘REPNOTIC, this surreal collection theme is all about a magical perception about everything we see around us. Those little unnoticed details of a landscape that when put together, paints the whole picture.

With this collection, the designer urges you to close your outer eyes that are conditioned to see and react to things a certain way; and open your inner eyes to see the true shades of perception. There is beauty in the minutest parts; there is meaning in the mundane.

‘REPNOTIC’ inspired ASA to transform an imaginative perception into a line of surreal designs. It is a new point of view to create silhouettes that mesmerize. Motion, poise, and fluidity are what make this collection unique.

E.This new collection from Abraham & Thakore celebrates a quiet glamour through shimmer, texture and ease. Classic silhouettes create a canvas for richly imagines patterns drawn from geometrics that are inspired by tribal drawings as well as ornate florals. Delicately shredded muslins and skills are inventively juxtaposed with gold, copper and silver to create a collection of modern, elegant dressed with a subtle richness.
