Nigerian designer Ituen Basi canceled her show at the Mercedes Benz fashion week Africa, but later showcased at GTBank Lagos Fashion & Design Week.

She introduced her new diffusion line ‘Ituen’ which basically had three themes, with one being a school theme with all the models wearing glasses and a Lagos theme with some of her pieces having the signature yellow Lagos bus, taxis and ‘kekenap’.

The quirkiness and the unique prints she used for most of her pieces are very similar to Moschino’s Pre Fall 2015 collection specially the yellow rule print. The collection had blown-up rulers or guides with dashed lines to give a how-to element to the 60s inspired shapes collection.

French brand, Sonia Rykiel unveiled its Spring/Summer 2015 campaign starring Lizzy and Georgia Jagger. The SS15 campaign showcases Julie de Libran’s first collection since her appointment as the brand’s artistic director shot by acclaimed photographer, Juergen Teller.

The Jagger sister’s emergence in Sonia Rykiel’s SS15 campaign, as well as in the SS15 runway show last fall, has a nostalgic connection with their mother, Jerry Hall, previously appeared in runway shows for the brand during her modeling career.
