The Ukranian feminist group with fairly naked protest tactics targeted Nina Ricci Show at Paris fashion week SS2014. Grabbing a startled model Hollie-May Saker and making their way down the catwalk, they screamed “fashion fascism,” with words decrying the sexualization of the modeling industry written in make-up across their naked torsos.

It’s unclear what exactly FEMEN is protesting at fashion week, or what it has to do with being topless. The organization’s site describes FEMEN as a global women’s movement, which aims to attack patriarchy in all forms, protect women’s rights, and promote action by…being topless.

In the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the skull scarf, Alexander McQueen with Damien Hirst has launched a limited 30 piece scarf collection and video featuring a woman draped in the silk scarves, covering even her face and moves in hauntingly slow motion in front of the screen.

Stunning square scarves features designs which have been adapted from Damien Hirst’s ‘Entomology’ series. Motifs of butterflies, spiders and other insects are are cleverly joined up to create the signature Alexander McQueen skull motif. Made with chiffon, ponge, twill and cashmere will available on McQueen’s official website.

Her passion lies in combining Semi precious stones with unique stones sourced from all over the world to create a confluence of versatile and stunning organic jewellery.

Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne of Public School were adjudged as the winners of the 2013 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, while Marc Alary of Marc Alary Jewelry and Juan Carlos Obando were named as runners-up.

This year’s edition marked the Fashion Fund’s 10th anniversary. The winner will receive a cash prize of $300,000, while the runners-up each take home $100,000. As in the past, each of the three recipients will also be teamed with a business mentor.

For the third short film of Prada Classics series, Prada have collaborated with Wonderland favourite film director Wes Anderson. Titled as “Castello Cavalcanti”, eight minute short movie was premiered at Rome Film Festival on 13th November.

Set in Rome’s Cinecittà, the movie takes us back to 1995 where the lead character played by Jason Schwartzman has just crashed his racing car into a statue of Jesus Christ in a tiny Italian Village. Jason finds himself engaged in a completely new universe and explores art, cinema and architecture. Later on the film is joined by Actress Giada Colagarnde.
