Love Brand & Co., the prestigious beachwear company with presence in 22 countries, is delighted to announce the opening of its first boutique located on Chelsea’s beach, just by Fulham Road, at 5 Park Walk, in London.

The 1,000 sq ft Flagship Boutique offers the SS13 Collection for men’s and boys’, responds to the spirit of its Creative Director, Oliver Tomalin, who wanted to contribute personally to all the elements of the brand’s first space.

The Boutique intends to encapsulate both the relaxed sense of being on the beach and the exacting nature of luxury flagship. The store showcases the brands responsible ethos and ‘modern classic’ style through a blend of unusual up cycled furniture and traditional brass fittings.

A major player in watchmaking history, Jaeger-LeCoultre celebrated its 180 years of continuous development at Harrods with leading experts from Jaeger-LeCoultre.

These leading experts have set up workshops dedicated to the art of watch making at Harrods, offering the clients and connoisseurs an exclusive glimpse into the know-how of a Manufacture synonymous with craftsmanship, tradition and invention.

Friend of the brand, Saif Ali Khan joined the celebrations stating “It gives me great pleasure to be part of this incredible milestone for Jaeger-LeCoultre and to see a piece of the temple of watchmaking right here in London.”

For the first time in its history, the legendary windows of Harrods on the Brompton Road showcase a large scale and an immersive experience in real watchmaking with the seminal exhibition, which brings together all major Métiers rares and the renowned Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Class, marking the 180th anniversary of the Manufacture.

Four master crafts of Jaeger-LeCoultre will be demonstrated through the following master classes: Watchmaking (6th–12th May), Engraving (13th-19th May), Enameling (20th-25th May) and Gem setting (26th-31st May)

The British Fashion Council has today announced seven of London’s brightest emerging menswear talents who will receive support to showcase their SS14 collections at London Collections: Men (16th-18th June 2013) from the designer support initiative, NEWGEN MEN sponsored by TOPMAN. The recipients for SS14 are: Agi & Sam (new), Astrid Andersen (new), Lee RoachMatthew Miller, Nasir Mazhar (new), Shaun Samson and Martin Rose.

All recipients receive sponsorship and showcasing opportunities as well as tailored business and mentoring support, with a view to increasing the success of their business commercially and building relationships with key press and buyers.

Caroline Rush, CEO of the British Fashion Council, commented, The designers participating represent the best of Britain’s exceptional emerging talent and with support for six catwalk shows and one presentation; this season’s NEWGEN MEN is set to be even more exciting than ever before.”

The celebrated designers will create a first ever special signature kids line for the winners of Disney Channel’s Jet Set 2!

Speaking about the concept, Shantanu says, it is based on how, fun line drawing doodles of a child’s imagination are filled in colour, making their dream world come alive. It portrays the child-like playfulness of the Disney characters in their real day to day lives.

Disney Channel will celebrate the win of the kids and their families in a true Disney fashion at a gala event on 17th of June in Mumbai, where the collection will be showcased by the kids themselves against the unveiling of yet another Disney branded Jet Set 2! plane set to fly in the Indian skies.

Inspired by the film Witness, and sourced from The Wool Lab AW 13/14 trend book from The Woolmark Company, The Glory of Elohim by Jasmine Kaur (young and upcoming designer from NIFT, New Delhi) is set in the Amish community in Pennsylvania, which identifiesSeverity, but at the same time an exorcism towards it.


Inspired from Amish lifestyle, religion and belief toward god, faith and simplicity, the collection mostly is in 100 per cent Merino wool, traditionally heavyweight, with dark color combinations and severe structures, as Amish consider the Bible a trustworthy guide for living and believe that “friendship with the world is enmity with God.


Going by the theme, the fit is large and functional, which is reflective of how the theme traditionally appears in rural communities who need to be comfortable and practical.
