If you care to join the bandwagon of Hollywood divas like Halle Berry, Julianne Moore, Katie Holmes, Nicole Kidman or Jessica Alba, then sporting an iconic D-bag can get you close! Bringing home a dash of class and style to the Indian accessory sector, Tod’s, the Italian luxury brand showcased its latest collection of bags at an exclusive preview at Delhi and Mumbai. (Harper’s Bazaar India played the co-host for this initiative.).

What is interesting about this new line from Tod’s is the mix and match of the classic and the casual. While one can opt for the pure Italian leather luxury D-bag in beige, fawn, rust, tan, dark brown and other earthy tones that are ideal for the working woman during the day, the see-through G-bags or the Gummy bags in fun neon colours of turquoise blue and ruby pink, are more for the holiday season. There is also another option in the form of ‘shirt bags’ that can go very well with casual wear. The best part is, though apparently simple looking, these handbags are beautifully handcrafted with great precision and detailing both from the outside and inside of the bags. While one can pick up the Gummy bags for Rs.31,000 the luxury D-bags are priced at 2, 12,000 and can be customised on request. While D-Styling Luxury is available on order in India, only 22 pieces of the Limited Edition Gummy Bag are up for grabs.
