Bridal Asia 2010 unveils Husn by Seema & Jamila Malhotra at the China Kitchen, Hyatt Regency.

Seema Malhotra and Jamila Malhotra are ready to showcase their collection for the first time in Delhi with Bridal Asia. Their collection titled ‘Husn’ is a tribute to the timeless beauty of Indian women, which is unparalleled anywhere in the world. This collection is inspired by the mystical magic that the Indian women creates when draped in beautiful saree, lehenga or various forms of Anarkalis. The collection is a dream sequence in ethereal nets and fluid georgettes in hues ranging from burnished gold, fuchsia pinks, lime greens and vermillion red. Embellished in their signature style of jewel encrusted garments, it is a poetic dance of colour, fabric and drape celebrating the exotic beauty of Indian form.

The Bangalore based mother and daughter designer duo are widely influenced by the Mughal art forms and Rajput Royalty which they interpret in contemporary silhouettes. Shimmer aptly describes the kind of intricate luminescent work that has given Jamila and Seema the reputation of being dream weavers.

Speaking on the occasion Divya Gurwara, CEO, Bridal Asia said, “It is always a pleasure to bring designers from different cities to the fore and showcase their designs to the discerning Delhi audience.”
